Biography

Pascal Bonnard received his Ph.D. from the Institute for Political Studies of Paris in 2011. His Ph.D. was devoted to the formation and politicization of ethnicity in Post-Soviet Europe, through the case study of Latvia.
He worked as a Temporary Lecturer and Research Assistant (ATER) at the University of Paris Ouest Nanterre from 2009 to 2011 and as an academic assistant and as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Natolin Campus of the College of Europe from 2012 to August 2013.
He is working as a Fernand Braudel-IFER-outgoing postdoctoral research fellow at the Humboldt University in Berlin from October 2014 to June 2015. He is also a substitute member in the Management Committee of the European Action COST IS1203 “In Search of Transcultural Memory in Europe”.
