Dr. Iwona Janicka
VITA
Iwona Janicka est chargée de recherche au Centre pour l’éthique environnementale et technologique – Prague (CETE-P) à l’Institut de Philosophie de l’Académie Tchèque des Sciences.
Avant de rejoindre CETE-P en 2024, Iwona a été Assistant Professor et EU Marie Curie-Skłodowska Fellow à l’université d‘ Aarhus (DK), Postdoctoral Fellow de la British Academy à l’université de Warwick (2015-2018) et Early Career Innovation Fellow à l’Institut d’études avancées de Warwick (2018-19). Entre 2015 et 2016 elle a été chercheuse associée au Forschungsinstitut für Philosophie à Hannovre. Elle a obtenu son doctorat en 2014 à l’université de Cambridge (Trinity Hall).
Iwona a été affiliée au Centre Marc Bloch en 2019.
Ses travaux de recherche étaient soutenus entre autres par la Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes (Fondation du Peuple allemand), la fondation Hertie et le Gates Cambridge Trust. Ses recherches portent sur les pensées allemande et française du XXIème siècle et la Théorie (littéraire, féministe, anarchiste, queer, critique). Elle s’intéresse particulièrement aux travaux de Peter Sloterdijk, Isabelle Stengers, Michel Serres, Bruno Latour, Vinciane Despret, Alain Badiou, Jacques Rancière, René Girard et Gilbert Simondon. Son premier livre est consacré au concept de l’universalité et la transformation sociale dans la philosophie la plus récente (Theorizing Contemporary Anarchism, 2017). Son deuxième livre examine la possibilité de formuler un concept non-anthropocentrique de la politique. Plus spécifiquement, il s’interroge comment développer une pratique politique dans le contexte des nonhumains (Nonhumans and Politics, en cours).
