Victor Frangeul Baron arbeitet an einer Doktorarbeit in Philosophie, die von der Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris und der Goethe-Universität in Frankfurt am Main in Cotutelle-Vertrag betreut wird. Seine Forschung befasst sich mit der Genealogie des Geschichtsdenkens von Theodor W. Adorno und mit der Art und Weise, wie es die Soziologie des Wissens und den historischen Charakter der Theorie selbst wieder aufnimmt. Als ehemaliger Schüler der Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris und MA der Universität Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne in Geschichte der Philosophie erhielt er einen dreijährigen Doktorandenvertrag und unterrichtete an der ENS, bevor er nach Berlin zog, um seine Forschung in den Archiven fortzusetzen und sich dem Centre Marc Bloch anzuschließen. Er war außerdem Stipendiat der DFH, des DAAD und ist jetzt Stipendiat des Berliner Parlaments.;

Victor Frangeul Baron prépare une thèse de doctorat en philosophie, menée en cotutelle entre l’Ecole Normale Supérieure de Paris et la Goethe-Universität de Francfort-sur-le-Main. Sa recherche porte sur la généalogie de la pensée de l’histoire de Theodor W. Adorno et sur la façon dont elle ressaisit la sociologie de la connaissance et le caractère historique de la théorie elle-même. Ancien élève de l’Ecole Normale Supérieure de Paris et diplômé d’une maîtrise en histoire de la philosophie de l’université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne avec spécialisation en philosophie allemande, il a obtenu un contrat doctoral triannuel spécifique puis enseigné un an en classe de Terminale, avant d’emménager à Berlin pour poursuivre ses recherches en archives et s’associer au Centre Marc Bloch. Il a également été boursier de l’UFA, du DAAD, puis du Parlement de Berlin.;

Victor Frangeul Baron is working on a doctoral thesis in philosophy under the joint supervision of the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris and the Goethe-Universität in Frankfurt/Main. His research focuses on the genealogy of Theodor W. Adorno’s historical thought and the way in which it recaptures the sociology of knowledge and the historical character of theory itself. A former student at the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris and holder of a master’s degree in history of philosophy from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne with a specialisation in German philosophy, he obtained a specific three-year doctoral contract and taught at the ENS Paris and in a Parisian high school, before moving to Berlin to continue his archival. He has also received grants from the UFA, the DAAD and the Berlin Parliament.
