Mr. Domingues is director of the IUPERJ (University Research Institut of Rio de Janeiro)His talk will adress the present phase of modernity, its third on, at a global level, in terms of civilizational theory. It will dwell on institutional features of the present as well as on the changes which the modern imaginary has been undergoing.
