Sofia Cumming ist Nachwuchswissenschaftlerin und arbeitet in den Bereichen der Vergleichenden Literaturwissenschaft und modernen europäischen Geistesgeschichte. Sie promovierte im Juni 2022 an der School of Literature, Drama & Creative Writing der University of East Anglia (Norwich, UK) mit ihrer Arbeit „Walter Benjamin’s Parisian Passages: Correspondences in European Thought“ (ohne Korrekturen bestanden). Von 2018-2022 war sie Dozentin an ihrer Fakultät, wo sie Grundstudiengänge in Kritischer Theorie, Literaturkritik, Modernismus und europäische Literatur unterrichtete. 2020-21 war Sofia DAAD-geförderte Gastdoktorandin an der Humboldt-Universität Berlin. Sie hat einen BA (Hons) in Vergleichender Literaturwissenschaft von der University of Kent (2011-2015) und einen Master of Studies in Modern Languages von der University of Oxford (2015-2016).;

Sofia Cumming est chercheuse post-doctorale travaillant dans les domaines de la littérature comparée et de l'histoire intellectuelle européenne moderne. Elle a obtenu son doctorat à la School of Literature, Drama & Creative Writing de l'Université d'East Anglia (Norwich, Royaume-Uni) en juin 2022 pour sa thèse intitulée "Walter Benjamin's Parisian Passages: Correspondences in European Thought". De 2018-2022, elle a été tutrice associée et conférencière invitée pour sa faculté, où elle a enseigné des cours de premier cycle sur la théorie critique, la critique littéraire, le modernisme et la littérature européenne. Sofia Cumming is a post-doctoral researcher working in the fields of Comparative Literature and modern European intellectual history. She obtained her PhD from the School of Literature, Drama & Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia (Norwich, UK) in June 2022 for her thesis 'Walter Benjamin's Parisian Passages: Correspondences in European Thought' (passed with no corrections). From 2018 until 2022, she acted as an Associate Tutor and Guest Lecturer at the University of East Anglia, where she taught undergraduate courses on Critical Theory, Literary Criticism, Modernism and European Literature. Sofia was previously a DAAD-funded visiting doctoral researcher at Humboldt-Universität Berlin (2020-21). She holds a BA (Hons) in Comparative Literature from the University of Kent (2011-2015) and a Master of Studies in Modern Languages from the University of Oxford (2015-2016).
