She has an interdisciplinary background, holding degrees in Political Science, Economics and Empirical Social and Political Analysis. Her research interests span the fields of citizens and politics, comparative politics, inequality, social psychology, political behavior and methods.
In her current research, she explores how citizens evaluate representation and how the institutional context impacts on their judgments. She identifies causes and consequences of failing representation and how representation changes in times of crisis.
The collaborative project "Why are citizens satisfied with public policies (or not)?" that she conducts with Emiliano Grossman (Sciences Po) investigates trends and determinants of policy appreciation in France.
