Biography
Ioanna Bartsidi is a PhD student in philosophy at the University of Paris-Nanterre under the supervision of Emmanuel Renault, in co-supervision with Georg Bertram (Freie Universität Berlin). Her research focuses on the historicity and the present of philosophy in Hegel and post-Hegelianism, as well as the philosophy of the history of philosophy.
After a BA in philosophy at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece), she was admitted in 2016 as a SI student to the Ecole Normale Supérieure (Ulm). She holds an MA in history of philosophy from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (2018) and the agrégation de philosophie (2019). From 2019 to 2023, she taught philosophy at the University of Paris-Nanterre as a contractual doctoral student, then as a research and teaching associate (ATER). In 2018, she founded the Hegel Seminar of the Ecole Normale Supérieure which she co-organized for five years.
For the year 2023-2024, she holds a DAAD research grant for doctoral students.
