Previously, she has worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Montreal Centre for International Studies (CÉRIUM) and as a research associate at the Institute for Advanced Sustainability Studies (project "Franco-German Forum for the Future"; direction: Patrizia Nanz). In 2020, she has defended a PhD in political theory on the idea of a European citizenship education and on EU education policies and discourses (Université de Montréal / Université de Nantes, 2020). She is currently working on two projects. One focuses on the Conference on the Future of Europe (CoFoE) and citizen participation in Europe. In particular, she is interested in the European citizens' panels which have been organized as part of the Conference (2021-2022). She is also a member of the EUI Forum on Democratic Participation and the Future of Europe (EUI-STG Democracy Forum). In addition, she is starting a new research project on citizenship education and bi- / plurilingual and intercultural education programs, with a special focus on the "European school" model and Franco-German secondary schools. Her broader research interests include education, citizenship, citizen participation, democracy, demoi-cracy, pluralism, cosmopolitanism, transnationalism, European integration and EU education policies.
