ICOM Germany – Decolonisation in a global context
June 04 | 17:00
Why should internationally operating organisations engage with decolonisation? How can transnational institutions shape this process meaningfully? What challenges, responsibilities, and opportunities arise?
On the occasion of the international meeting of the ICOM Working Group on Decolonisation, we invite you to join a panel discussion with experts from museums, culture, and science on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 5:00 PM. Together, we will explore the ongoing and critical process of decolonisation. The event will take place at the Centre Marc Bloch in Berlin and will also be live-streamed— seats are limited. Following the discussion, we look forward to welcoming you to a joint reception hosted by ICOM Germany in cooperation with Centre Marc Bloch.
